Who wants to see Mt. Maculot and Mt. Banahaw at the same time? YES you can! On top of Mt. Manabo. It's one of the series of mountains belonging to Malipunyo peaks located in the City of Lipa and Sto Tomas. It's fairly popular among mountainers because if its almost 360 degree scenic view. Climbing it should be fun and would only take an hour to reach the grassy summit.
There are no immediate obstacles, just plain long trek and you're up there. But be cautious because there are two major trails, one leading you to steep slope near the summit, and the other being the popular trail is much more established. Be also aware on choosing your campsite, pitch your tent at the lower part of the summit. It can be very cold at night so be sure to bring thick clothes.
